She made it! After a very long flight!
Family reunited and a visit from Cousin Doug. We spent the whole day doing things Ava loves and missed. We just finished her lunch of Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese Bagels.
We also had a very memorable time as Ava presented each family member with a gift she had chosen for them individually. These were such thoughtful gifts and required much sacrifice on her part to purchase them and transport them home. Our home was filled with love and gratitude for her service.
We had a fun "Ava Celebration" at the house for her Homecoming. We had such a wonderful experience listening to Ava speak at Stake Conference this day. She only had a few minutes in the morning to gather her thoughts for a surprise assignment to speak on a certain topic. She was phenomenal and had everyone in tears. Members were quoting her for weeks after this amazing talk.
Well done, thou good and faithful servant! Ava returned home with honor and many priceless skills and experiences that will bless her life and the lives of her future family and all who know her.
